Tour and Demo
The best way to decide if Media Fusion is right for you is to see it in action.
User View
The display below is from the user side of Media Fusion. The user console is embedded into a webpage using an iframe. This is what visitors to your website would see (hosting your media, of course!)
Take a tour: Click on a few links, check out the videos, and listen to the audio.
Lessons and Series
In the console above, you see a list of lessons in the “Media Fusion Videos” series. If your media were a book, the series name would be the book title, and the lessons would be chapters in that book.
All lessons are associated with a series, and all videos, audio files, and resources are stored within individual lessons.
RSS Feeds and Podcasts are the exception. Each Media Fusion console has only one RSS Feed and Podcast link.
Current and Archives Tab
The Current tab takes users to the currently highlighted series. If you were a professor, this would be the chapter your students are currently studying, or if you were a blogger, this would be the series of videos you are trying to highlight at the moment.
The Archives Tab takes users to a listing of the series that are loaded in your Media Fusion console. You determine the order of the series that appear on the Archives Page.
Buttons, Feed, Podcast, etc.
If any given lesson does not have a resource (video, audio, or otherwise), then the button for that media item will be disabled and “grayed out.”
If audio files have been added to the RSS feed, then the Feed button will be enabled. The Podcast button is only enabled if your podcast has been submitted to iTunes and you have checked the “I have submitted my podcast to iTunes” box in your Media Fusion settings.
The Media Fusion Admin Panel
The admin panel is where all of the action happens. Once you have an account, you can access the admin panel for your console at go.startthefusion.com.
When you first log in, you will see this screen:
This is the series listing on the admin side. To see the lesson associated with a Series, all you need to do is click the Series’ name. That will bring up the Lesson Listing screen:
